Geology
Jonathan Kelafant

Jon Kelafant has nearly 40 years of experience in unconventional gas development, especially in shale gas and coalbed methane reservoirs.
His work spans more than 30 countries for major and independent gas companies. He holds a B.S. in Geology from Washington and Lee University and an M.S. in Geology from George Washington University.
Petroleum Engineering
George J. Koperna, Jr.

George Koperna is an expert in unconventional oil and gas resource assessment, specializing in the evaluation of shale and tight reservoirs through integrated geological and engineering analysis. He has supported major industry and government initiatives by developing methodologies to estimate resource potential, improve recovery factors, and enhance subsurface modeling in complex systems.
His work also extends to CO₂-enhanced recovery and geologic storage, positioning him at the intersection of unconventional resource development and the evolving energy landscape.
Modeling
Anne Oudinot

Anne Oudinot is a reservoir engineer with over two decades of experience specializing in unconventional gas resources such as coalbed methane, shale gas and shale oil. Her work focuses on reservoir simulation, enhanced recovery techniques (including CO₂ injection), and integrating carbon storage with hydrocarbon production.
She is best characterized as a technical subsurface expert working on modeling, optimization, and CO₂-related projects in unconventional systems.
