Mr. Matthew Wallace is a Vice President with Advanced Resources International, Inc. He has over 20 years of professional experience in energy and environmental consulting, with over 15 years focused on unconventional oil and gas resources, carbon storage project development, and emerging energy resources.
He has significant experience in CO2 enhanced oil recovery (CO2 EOR) resource assessment and technoeconomic analysis. He is a noted speaker on CCUS topics and conducts research on carbon management and low carbon intensity oil production using CO2 EOR. He leads the annual survey of CO2 EOR projects in the U.S., which tracks project status and incremental oil production from U.S. CO2 EOR operations. He also has extensive experience in commercial carbon storage project design and development. His recent work includes carbon storage resource assessment and permitting for both U.S. and international projects.
Mr. Wallace holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Studies from Washington & Lee University and is a member of the National Capital Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
