Mr. Manoj Kumar Valluri is a Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Advanced Resources International, Inc. He has 11 years of U.S. and global experience in subsurface project development, management, and execution with focus on reservoir engineering aspects of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), and enhanced oil recovery (EOR).
He currently leads or supports development and execution of multiple commercial and federal CCUS projects with clients ranging from domestic bioenergy producers to multinational corporations. He has managed projects ranging from small site studies to multi-million dollar well construction and site characterization projects. His technical focus is on reservoir engineering, computer simulations, corrosion evaluations, injection well permitting, and overall project implementation. In his role as CFO, he is also responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and risk management of the firm.
Mr. Valluri holds an M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University - College Station and an honorary bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from BITS Pilani, India. He is a member of the International Standards Organization (ISO) Technical Committee 265 on carbon capture and storage. He is also a member of the Energy Institute's CCS Reservoir Engineering committee (CCS2001) and the committee on corrosion management and asset integrity (AAg 2508/CCS2503).
