Mr. David Riestenberg is a Vice President with Advanced Resources International, Inc. He has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, with emphasis on unconventional hydrocarbon production and the use of carbon dioxide for both enhanced recovery and sequestration.
He oversees a team of geoscientists whose work spans regional CO2 storage assessments, site screening, and site-specific planning for commercial-scale geologic sequestration and enhanced hydrocarbon recovery, including pilot-based field projects. From 2022-2025, he led an exploratory program in Georgia where five stratigraphic test borings were drilled supporting a CO2 storage resource evaluation. Previously, he served as a geologic operations lead for EQT Production Company.
Mr. Riestenberg holds a B.S. in Biology from the College of Mount St. Joseph, Cincinnati and an M.S. in Geology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is an active member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
