Mr. Clark Talkington is a Vice President with Advanced Resources International, Inc. With over 35 years of experience on energy, climate, and environmental matters across public, private, and multilateral organizations, his principal focus areas at ARI are methane management in the extractive industries and carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS).

Within the domestic and international methane and CCUS sectors, Mr. Talkington provides technical support for public and private clients' efforts to effectively monitor, report, and verify (MRV) methane and other greenhouse gas emissions and emission reductions and storage of carbon dioxide. He also works closely with clients to identify opportunities for methane emission reductions by assessing project design, feasibility, financial viability, and implementation. Prior to joining ARI in 2012, he served as a Vice President at Sindicatum Sustainable Resources, an international independent energy project investor and developer; as an Economic Affairs Officer at the UN Economic Commission for Europe; and as the Manager of the Coalbed Methane Outreach Program within the U.S. EPA's Climate Change Division.

Mr. Talkington holds an M.P.Aff. from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Political Science from Texas A&M University.
