Advanced Resources’ SPEcieS – GenOHM (Stochastic Production Evaluation System – Genetically Optimized History Matching) system is an engineering workflow that integrates geostatistics, Monte-Carlo methods and run-management algorithms for automated reservoir simulation history-matching and probabilistic production forecasting. The workflow enables ARI to efficiently and thoroughly search for optimum solutions to multi-dimensional history-matching problems, incorporating reservoir complexity via geostatistical and other methods. Those results are used in combination with Monte-Carlo methods to provide our clients with probabilistic forecasts of oil and gas production. The SPEcieS – GenOHM system can be applied both with COMET3 and other industry reservoir simulators. Technical papers describing the system can be downloaded via the links below.
